My grandma Caroline died of Alzheimers in 2010, just over 14 years ago.

I always wanted to run in her memory and raise money for charity but at the time I was too unfit and overweight to achieve my goal. Now that I've shedded some of that, I feel like I'm in a good place to finally make good on my promise.

So I'm running the Manchester Marathon in honour of Caroline Brookes, a marvellous woman who we lost too soon.
