Story
Thank you for visiting our page.
We have set up this page as a way for members of our 'Running to Reclaim the Streets' group to donate to this amazing charity.
We run in memory of Sarah Everard.
We also run as a way of reclaiming the streets through group running at night, when many of us sadly don't feel safe taking to the streets on our own.
We hope that this group will continue to run as a weekly ritual - every Wednesday at 9.30pm (the weekly anniversary of the last time Sarah was seen) and that the group will grow, encouraging more people to feel safe running at night.
Alongside the running, we encourage members to donate to Woman's Trust - an amazing charity which supports women affected by domestic abuse by providing counselling and support groups.
There is undeniable need for this group, with domestic abuse affecting 1 in 4 women in the UK, making it the biggest single cause of female depression and mental health problems. Woman's Trust strive to change this.
If you would like to get involved with the group - we would encourage you to get in contact with us.
Otherwise, you can find us every Wednesday, 9.30pm, at Sarah's Tree (Meadows).
