Sue Ryder is here to make sure everyone approaching the end of their life or living with grief can get the support they need. There is no one size fits all when it comes to how we cope and the help we need, but with our support, no one has to face dying or grief alone. We are there when it matters.

Story

Thanks for getting this far to read my story... I've resurrected my JustGiving page from 2015 to continue the great work of raising lots of money for Sue Ryder Care - a charity very close to mine and my family's heart.

The Nettlebed Hospice near Henley provides specialist care and support to people with life limiting conditions as well as their families and loved ones.

Having lost my dear Father in law at the start of this year, it's a stark reminder how Cancer can be so cruel and take lives so quickly.

My own brave Dad has been strong and fighting his own battle with Cancer for almost 9 years now - he is my biggest inspiration to "never give up" and has received great support from Sue Ryder. So this charity has a very special place in my heart.

This year I will be running the Reading Half Marathon for Sue Ryder Care and in honour of everyone who has been touched somehow in their lives by Cancer.  Together we will beat it!

So here's my JustGiving page - feel free to donate just a pound if you like - every little helps!  So thank you :-)
