Story
Sup bitches.
Right, I'm doing this 5K run on the 1st April to raise money for the Douglas Macmillan Hospice. The Douglas Macmillan Hospice provide care and support for those suffering from cancer, and their families. The Hospice operates completely off donations, with no government funding.
The run will be held exactly one year after my mum's funeral. She died of cancer in March last year. It was really shit. But in the end, I don't want you to donate money because of that; I'd rather you donate a pound/few pence/a million pounds (if you're rich innit) in order to help the people who are still alive and struggling with cancer. I'm not saying that your donation will solve the world's problems, or cure a disease or anything like that. But it will go towards making the last few days of individuals and families living with cancer more bareable, as well as providing new equipment, funding for staff (they're all super lovely), and counselling for those affected.
Obviously you're not super wealthy, and you're probably a poor student who *needs* to save up to go Liquid this Friday, or who *needs* a new £1000000 iPhone, but for every penny you donate, you'll be helping people who really need a bit of love and support - people who are trying to survive; who want to spend another day out with their mates, buying overpriced Apple products, going the gym, listening to music, having sexy sex with their partner or whatever.
Plus, I'll think you're really spesh and give you sexual favours if you help out.
If you're still too poor, then feel free to come down and support me on the day (I dunno what you could do...you could throw water at me or something...but if you want to do that, then that's cool with me). I'm sure the cancer karma God definitely won't strike you down for not sparing a few pence ;).
Lots of love and sex,
