As most of you know, Simon's father in law Alan, is being treated for Chordoma. Alan and his wife Tina have recently returned from Florida where he began the first stage of his treatment, Proton Beam Therapy which until very recently was not available in this country. He will then have surgery in the UK to remove the tumour (or the Beast as we all call it) and will return to Florida after surgery for more Proton Therapy.

Until Alan's diagnosis we had not heard of Chordoma, even Alan's GP was not aware of it. The charity Chordoma UK raise funds to support vital research into Chordoma, promote awareness and also to support patients and families who are affected.

We are raising funds for Chordoma UK and hope to raise awareness of this rare type of bone cancer.

We are doing the only 2 things we know how to -  running the London Marathon and throwing a party! Please contact us if you'd like details of the Charity fundraising night we are holding on 2nd March.
