Raising money to support people affected by lymphoma, the fifth most common cancer in the UK

Story

It's the 31st of October & I thought I'd set myself a challenge this November..

Starting tomorrow, I plan to run 7 miles every day of November - Not only that but I also plan to cycle 19 miles every day too.

The relevance of these numbers.. Since the announcement of David Brooks being diagnosed with Hodgkin Lymphoma I've wanted to do something to raise money & awareness. As you all know 7 is David's AFC Bournemouth shirt number & 19 is his Wales International shirt number.

Although a keen runner, this is made more of a challenge due to currently being unfit & carrying some extra lockdown weight & I've not been in the saddle for awhile either.

The numbers - A marathon a day (26.2 miles):

213 miles of running
573 miles of riding
Grand Total: 786 miles in 30 days!
