Story
On the 24th June 2017 me and Chris will be donning the running shoes to set off on a challenge of a lifetime we will be running the complete bailiwick of guernsey!
once complete we will have covered the complete island clocking in a whopping 26 miles nearly and we will have ran the whole island and passed through all 10 parishes in under sub 5 hours
This will be a mega challenge for us as we have given ourselves a month of intense training before we hit the coast
You may be wondering why we have chosen diabetes uk, my brother jack sadly got diagnosed with type 1 before Christmas and it's hard for me as his brother to see him go through this struggle, but my brother is a fighter and Since his diagnosis he's smashed expectations from being very poorly in hospital to changing his lifestyle completely I'm very proud of him and I'm this is why I'm raising funds to diabetes uk so they can continue there amazing work of helping people get through it like my brother,
It will also mean I can raise awareness on the island about diabetes because it's something you don't want to ignore!
On Chris's behalf we will be splitting the funds to his select charity cancer research, as sadly a close friend of his was diagnosed within the last few months with a Life threading Brain Tumour and we want to support also there work to assist in there work
Every penny will count!
