Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Rainbow Mind, who tackle mental health issues for individuals within the LGBTQI+ community.

On the 13th October 2020 my cousin Mathew died by suicide. I have never known a sadness like it, and the past year has been really difficult for my family. Mathew is so deeply missed by the many people who loved him dearly. Mathew was proudly gay. 

I started running a lot to clear my head, and manage my own mental health. I kept on running, and I have decided to put my running to use. 

I am running ten marathons in this year, starting in Barcelona and ending in Yorkshire. I will post regular updates on this page. I hope to raise lots of money in memory of Mat, and facilitate the amazing work Rainbow Mind do for the LGBTQI+ community. 

Rainbow Mind is a new service co-ordinated by Mind, the mental health charity, to address the growing need for mental health service for the LGBTQI+ community who are disproportionately affected by mental health issues. Rainbow Mind is led, staffed, and directed by LGBTQ+ people who provide mental health services in the community. 

Any donation you are able to make will go a very long way, and I, and my whole family, are incredibly grateful. I will be covering my own racing and travel costs; every penny you give will help LGBTQI+ people in Manchester.
