Welcome to my Brighton Marathon fundraising page in support of Diabetes UK.

In August, my wife, Sophie, was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. It came as a complete shock to both of us and has required a huge amount of adjustment to her everyday life.

From the very beginning, it has become clear to us just how little understanding there is around type 1 diabetes. Many people don’t realise the impact it can have on someone’s life, or the constant management and consideration it requires every single day.

Through taking on the Brighton Marathon, I hope to help raise awareness, support the incredible work of Diabetes UK, and raise funds to help others living with the condition.

And, of course, I’m hoping to achieve something pretty big myself along the way — running a marathon!
