Story

We did it, thank you so so much. 94.1 miles run and one small blister the only injury to report thanks to Fran in the van and all her skills.

To everybody that's shared this story as well as donate, thank you so so much, it means the world to us and has gone towards helping people that need it, thank you.

---------------

I was told a story of Arthur, he cycled from Leicester to Wembley in 1949 for Leicester City’s first FA Cup final. He watched them lose out to Wolves, came out of the stadium & his bike was gone so he WALKED home.

If he walked back then I can run from Leicester to Wembley for Khun Vichai’s Foundation. A foundation that supports children, adults & the elderly in Leicestershire.

So, 100 miles between Monday 10th May & FA Cup Final day on Saturday 15th May.

Hopefully I’ll be there in time to commentate on The Foxes at 17:15 🦊

About the charity

Since its formation in 2011/12, the Foundation has raised almost £2M for local charities, helping fund a renovation of Leicester Royal Infirmary’s Children’s Outpatient Ward and life-saving equipment desperately needed by the Children’s Intensive Care Unit.
