************ Injury update**********. A knee ligament injury is going to prevent me from doing the bike ride on Friday, but I aim to do the 100 miles myself before the end of August.
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Thanks to many of you, I managed to raise £1500 for Poppy Fields last year, which helps to to support Birmingham Children's Hospital in its quest to save the lives of children with brain tumours.
The Charity was set up by Lisa and Brian Guilder and of course Poppy, the real star of the show. At just 14 months she was diagnosed with a large brain tumour and the prognosis wasn't good.
However, thanks to the skills of the doctors and nurses and advancements in medical technology, she has deifed the odds and is continuing to amaze us all with her everyday achievements in swimming and dancing to name but two of her hobbies.
Poppy is a living example of what can be achieved with additional funding being channelled into the right areas and is why I have decided to once again to dedicate the 100 miles to this great family and charity.
As most of you know, I'm a massive Wolves fan so wearing another team's colours would be really embarrassing, but I'm willing to take it on the chin for any donations over £25. There's six slots available for each 15-mile leg of the journey.
Hope you will dig deep again and support a cause that is saving children's lives every minute of every day. For further details on Poppy's story please visit ...www.poppyfieldsappeal.co.uk
