My cousin, Vinny Eagle sadly died from stage 4 oesophageal cancer at 36. The Cancer Club helped him a lot and it was his choice for me to raise money for them to help other people like Vinny who really needed it. This charity has made a huge difference to him and I can see why.

Please help me raise as much as possible to help The Cancer Club help people who really need and deserve it. These guys are really helping men with cancer when they need it the most - please help me raise as much as possible.

I really don't like running, seriously I don't!  I’m old, fat and my knees are knackered 😁 It'll be about 18 hours of pain, some lovely views and a few blisters. By the time I've finished the run including my training I will have run over 1,000 miles so please please please be as generous as you can! 

The Cancer Club is all about bringing men with cancer together at a variety of sporting events to provide not just emotional support from others “in the same boat” but to provide an outlet, a way to escape the everyday grind created by cancer and to bring some light-hearted relief to their lives. Supported by a private, online forum, we want to make a practical difference to people’s lives, helping them to feel better than they did prior to being part of the “club” that no one wants to join.
