Earlier this year, my father sadly passed away. In Dad's last days, the Paul Sartori Foundation provided amazing and invaluable night time nursing care at home for Dad. This not only enabled my sister (Kate) and I to get a few hours rest each night but provided us with fantastic back up, advice and support as well. We could not have done it without them, the Macmillan nurse or the District Nurses.

So I'm running the Great North Run this year both in memory of Dad and to raise money for the Paul Sartori foundation - so that others in a similar position can benefit in the same way we did. Thanks in advance.
