Someone is diagnosed with blood cancer in the UK every 20 minutes, and many will need a blood stem cell transplant for a second chance at life. We are committed to increasing the number of potential blood stem cell donors in the UK, so that there is a donor for everyone who needs one.

Story

Mum passed away in April 2018 after suffering from a type of blood cancer for many years.  Mum never gave up throughout her illness and smiled until the very end. She was so strong on the outside even though inside I know she was hurting but kept moving forward positively regardless of what the future looked like.  So in her honour I am running this great race again with the aim of raising money on behalf of DKMS to help delete blood cancer, which is obviously very close to my heart.
