Story

Hi All,

2 years on from finally getting back to doing some sort of fitness after a 20-year “break” I have now decided to brave an Olympic-distance triathlon consisting of a 1,500m swim in Dorney lake, followed by a 40km bike ride, then topped off with a 10km run. I’ve completed a couple of shorter events over the past 18 months in the build-up to this – on Sunday 14th June will be the next challenge. Most people will finish in under 3 hours – no chance for me and I will be happy just to finish!

I have not yet run any of these events for charity and I thought it was about time I did my bit – I have chosen a charity that my mother-in-law volunteers for as it is very close to our hearts http://www.rosiecranetrust.org. I would be extremely grateful if you could please donate anything that you can to this cause.

Thanks and appreciation in advance,

Russell
