Gnomesville at The Blowing Stone Inn

Russell Paul is raising money for Parkinson’s UK

Gnomesville · 22 October 2020

Anyone can get Parkinson’s. It gets worse over time and there’s no cure. Yet. Funding research into the most promising treatments, we’re getting closer to a cure. Until then, we're improving life for people with Parkinson’s, and the people in their lives. Together we'll find a cure.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Come and visit Gnomesville at the Blowing Stone Inn, Kingston Lisle, OX12 9QL and leave a gnome.

Gnomesville is a gnome community fundraising for Parkinson's Disease Society.  David Paul, who had Parkinson's loved gnomes.  Gnomesville was originally set up in 2020 so David could see his gnomes happy when he moved into a care home.  His vision was for other gnomes to join his gnomes so they could make new friends!

After their first location was vandalised they moved into a temporary home, not visible to the public.  They were scared :-(.  David's condition worsened and the gnomes mood was low.  They didn't want to be seen.  Sadly David passed away in Dec 23.

The Gnomes are now determined to raise some more money for Parkinson's Disease, building on their initial fundraising escapades 4 years ago.  Their mood has lifted and they have found their new home at the Blowing Stone Inn with David's son Russell.

Anyone can donate money to Gnomesville to help find a cure for Parkinson's Disease.  We hope Gnomesville will grow in size over the next few years and provide visitors with a little joy and laughter.
