Brighton Marathon 2014 · 6 April 2014 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

After failing to reach the Brighton Marathon start line this year due to injury, and the indignity of having to quit half way round the Eastbourne Half Marathon (due to the same injury!!!) I have signed up to do the Beachy Head Marathon in October. This is supposedly a pretty tough marathon, over the South Downs, so fingers crossed I can now remain injury free:

I could give you a million reasons to donate, but I am not looking to tug at your heartstrings. The race is self funded, meaning I have no pre-determined target to reach, so please feel free to donate as little or as much as you want.

Thanks!
