On 27/01/2018
I will be running a 24 hour gaming marathon along with my best friend Dom at my side.
This will be 24 hours non stop, so none of this stopping to sleep. We will take breaks so as not to hurt ourselves though.
Our intention is to attempt as much of the 24 hours as possible on the music games “guitar hero” so we expect much pain and discomfort for days afterwards.
However it’s unlikely we can run guitar hero for 24 hours straight so we will have a selection of other co op games, such as “resistance fall of man” “dynasty warriors” “army of two” “destiny” 1 and 2 and basically any other 2 player games we can pick up cheap. Anyone who donates over 40 quid gets to pick the game we play for a whole hour even if it’s pants! (As long as we have it)
We will be streaming the whole event live on twitch and you can even purchase the whole 24 hour download if you want afterwards for a small donation. We will stream what is on screen and a view of our good selves so come hour 20 and later that could get pretty funny.
So please donate to help cheer us on, it’s for a great cause and this will be a huge challenge for me and Dom so we really want to smash our target and raise some great money to help level up cancer research.
We really hope we see you all on twitch on the day to talk to us, take the Mick, or just cheer us on!
The rules we are setting ourselves are
No more than 15 minutes off camera at any time.
10 minutes break per hour (can be banked)
Can only eat during game play or on breaks
Getting a drink does not count as a break if the other player keeps us alive.
