In 2015, Mike ran a 24hr Christmas gaming livestream on Twitch.tv in aid of Mind, to support the cause of better mental health. During the stream, Mike plus the occasional guest played various video games, attracting around 200 viewers and raised over £270 (including Gift Aid).

The following year, Mike ran a 12hr livestream using a condensed version of the previous format & a small rotating cast of 5 guests, and raised £1,000.

So last year Mike teamed up officially with Rusty Quill, upped the production value with additional cameras, including a 360 video feed (generously provided by Focal Point VR), secured a sponsor (Ipsos MORI), had a refined list of games based on fan feedback, and used the talents of a host of Rusty Quill personalities. On the back of this, we managed to raise just over £2,000 from our gaming marathon.

This year, we're back bigger & better, with more guests & a live studio audience as well, aiming to not only beat, but double (at least) last year's total! With your help, we can shoot for the stars, all in the name of improving mental health services, and break that target of £4,000!
