When I first signed up to hike to Base Camp, it was for a personal challenge, but just over a year ago my nephew was diagnosed with severe scoliosis at the young age of 14 ❤️. He his due to have his operation at the end of September after a long year of waiting (& many cancelled ones) but that won’t be the end as he has a long road of recovery ahead of him, which I know he’ll soldier through with his cheeky smiley face like he has been doing ❤️

SAUK is the only UK-wide patient support organisation for people affected by scoliosis and their families. Their  aim is to provide advice, support, and information to people affected by scoliosis and raise awareness of scoliosis amongst health professionals and the general public.
