Story
Thank you for taking the time to read my fundraising page.
I have decided to take the plunge and join the SJL Santa
Skydivers on 4th December (now in Spring due to high winds) because I wanted to help raise money for
Acorns Children’s Hospice.
People are often amazed that it costs around £10 million a
year to provide the vital care for children and support their families.
Around 60% of the funds they need come from the generosity
of the local community and people being sponsored for events like skydives.
To give you an idea of what your donation will fund …
- £3 could provide a meal for a child in a hospice
- £10 could pay for art supplies for a session of
specialist craft play
- £25 could pay for a child to have a half hour
session with a physiotherapist
- £50 could pay for a family member to stay at
Acorns overnight
Any donation you can make to help me reach my target of £500
would be really appreciated.
