Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I'm super excited to be taking part in the Virgin Money London Marathon 2016, which has been on my "bucket list" for many years!! Personally it means a lot to me to have the opportunity to take part in the race, but also at the same time to support a charity which is doing great work within the disability arena.

As a diversity and inclusion practitioner, the work that charities such as Disability Rights UK carries out is fundamental to how change is affected within our society. It is highly likely we all know someone who has a disability or health condition, perhaps you think you don't know anyone but chances are those individuals keep their condition or impairment hidden through coping strategies, or it's a non-visible disability such as mental health.

Please do support my race training by donating on the run up to the marathon (I'm aiming for a sub 3:45!) and for this great cause.

Your donation is very important and means a lot to me and to DRUK :)
