I work as a nurse at St Margaret's Hospice in Taunton. Every shift I see the effects of cancer at close hand, both physically, and emotionally, on patients and their loved ones. If I can do something to raise money to help find a cure for this horrible disease, then I am happy to do it. On a more personal level, I'm also running in memory of my dad - a deeply loved, kind, and gentle man who died from a brain tumour when I was just 6 years old. I wish I could have known him more.
