Everyone has suffered as a result of Covid -19. These are difficult times to ask for donations I understand. But as an animal lover, I want to ensure the most vulnerable of our animals are also considered and supported in these times. 

To run the London Marathon is a lifetime ambition for me. It’s squarely on the bucket list. And to run it for Cats is more than I could ask for as an opportunity. 

I lost my mother in 2014 and my love of cats comes from her. I was raised in a home surrounded by the ‘unloved’ or ‘difficult to home’ cats. We even fostered cats for a period. This set the theme for my adult life, having the privilege of sharing my life with a number of these awesome creatures. When I strap on my trainers on 3rd October 2021 - I will be doing so with my mum in mind and to inspire us all to think outside our personal human experiences and remember those who depend on our kindness and love.
