In July 2025, I have challenged myself to join a team of colleagues (the Tandem Trekkers) to take on the Gower Peninsula Mighty Hike to help raise money for people living with cancer.

It will be 15 miles (a bit more than a half marathon) of hiking around the stunning Gower and a lot of training between now and July. Keep up with my training posts below.

Please help me smash my £250 pledge, which can pay for Macmillan Nurse for one day. Macmillan also provide endless amount of information and other support to help people affected by cancer, whether they be the patient or their families and people close to them.

There are currently 3 million people living with cancer in the UK today. It's Macmillan's goal to be there for everyone from the moment of diagnosis, but they can't do this without donations from all you lovely people.
