Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I lost my Dad to cancer in October 2011 and wanted to do something that he would appreciate whilst also raising some money for Macmillan, who provided him and us with excellent support during his treatment.  So after a bit of research a trip to Everest Base Camp for Macmillan was the order of the day - I signed up whilst 8 months pregnant, hence the name "Bump to Base Camp".

I'll be blogging about my progress going from post-natal to peak-fit over the next 12 months.  Check out www.onthewaytoforty.wordpress.com!

UPDATE:  I am lucky enough, as of May 2013, to be helped along my fundraising way by a team of cyclists taking part in the Manchester to Blackpool cycle on 16th July, you can see their names above, thank you!!

Please spare what you can so Macmillan can go on helping others in the future.

You can donate in any currency and it is quick and easy.

So please dig deep and donate now.  I'm making a large donation myself to more than cover the cost of the trip and then some so every £1 or Euro you donate goes straight to Macmillan.

Thank you!
