We're climbing machu picchu to raise money for Kenyan children · 23 September 2017

The aim of ‘Boo’ is to help African children who are disadvantaged through economic poverty. Projects include the provision of food, shelter, healthcare, education, life-skills and emotional support, to lift them from poverty so that they no longer need to rely on charity.

Story

Hey guys! We are taking on the grueling 4 day trek to Machu Picchu to raise money for Boo Charity who support a children's education centre located in the Nairobi slum of Kibera.
Kibera is home to over 1 million people and is the biggest slum in Africa.  Boo Charity provide support to those families  that are reduced to living in corrugated iron and mud huts, with very little money and access to, what many consider basic facilities such as food, toilets, healthcare and education.
We will also both be visiting and volunteering in the children's centre in Kenya this November to help first hand and make a difference to lives of these children and families.

Taking on this challenge is all self-funded and every penny  we raise will go towards Boo Charity to help these disadvantaged children through support, care and opportunities to lift them from poverty.

We will be camping on the Andes for 3 nights and climbing the tough
13,828 ft of the Inca Trail.

Please help us raise as much money as we can for this amazing and life-changing charity and sponsor us! Thank you!

All the love

Ruth and Harry
