Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Ian and I are, for the 2nd year running, going to attempt the RBRB Swim to Kettleness.....and back event. As some of you will know, we participated last year with Ruth swimming the 1 mile event from Kettleness back to Runswick Beach (very slowly as she had to do breaststroke owing to the panic attacks she got everytime she put her face in the water to swim crawl!) and Ian completed the 2 mile swim from the beach to Kettleness and back and suffered hypothermia for his trouble owing to his only owning a shorty wetsuit!

So we are hoping this year to try and look a little more professional and achieve a decent time with no near-hospitalizations necessary! The Rescue Boat is a fantastic Charity that has been around since I was a child visiting the village and it would be great if it was still there when our children are adults bringing their off-spring to the Bay.
