Our kind, generous, lovely and cheeky Auntie Ruth died peacefully following a battle with cancer on 6 June 2020.

Ruth remained positive, accepting and stoic throughout her illness, lifted by her unshaken faith in God.

She is now at peace, reunited with her mum and dad, whom she loved very much.

Due to Lockdown, Ruth's Memorial Service has been delayed, but this will now take place on Tuesday 27 July 2021.

Ruth asked for no flowers for this service, requesting donations be made to Cancer Research UK instead. Please make a donation in memory of Ruth Thorne, if you are able.
