Having previously survived tuberculosis and breast cancer, Ruth sadly passed away following surgery for bowel cancer on the morning of Thursday 31st January 2013.

We all remember Ruth as a generous and honest person, always keeping the family in check. Ruth was always quick to forgive, and brought joy to all her friends and family.

Cancer Research was one of Ruth's favourite charities and Ruth would have liked Cancer Research to benefit in her memory. Please feel free to make a donation to this cause in Ruth's memory with a simple message.
