Story

                                            This is it.

                               My final running challenge.

So i'm going BIG.To celebrate the change in organ donation law in spring 2020

The challenge... to run from Lands end (the most south western point of Great Britain) to John 0'groats (the most north eastern point) in May 2020. Doing this in 17 consecutive days averaging 50 miles a day.

So a bit about me i got critically ill in 2010 when i was diagnosed with CKD (Chronic Kidney Disease) i was on high medication to try and control it but my health was still deteriorating over time. i was luck to have a friend who donated her kidney to me in March 2015. Since that day my life changed i have a new lease of life that i fully intend to live. Running since the transplant has always been my passion but my motto has always been BELIEVE THEN ACHIEVE and since becoming transplant team GB world champion in 2019 i feel i have to keep moving forward, keep progressing, in life onto other things. So i'm signing off my running with this huge challenge. I will always keep up my health and fitness but its the end of my running challenges.

Please give all you can to these wonderful charities that help and give so much.

You can follow my progress on my Facebook Ryan Brett and strava.
