On the 7th February 2022 our lives were turned upside down by the sudden passing of Brian - a fun, witty man who was full of life and never took himself too seriously. Having recently retired and moved to Scotland, he still had many plans for the future. 

Brian touched the lives of all those around him. He was humble and unassuming - not knowing the true impact which he left on people. It is safe to say that the world will be a duller place without him in it. 

The family have chosen the charity 'stand-by-me bereavement support' which helps reach bereaved children and young people. With a lifelong friend of Brian's working for this charity, he was very proud of the work which 'stand-by-me' carry out. Having young grandchildren himself, their cause also resonated heavily with his heart. If we can make a small difference to this amazing charity then we know we will have done Brian proud!
