Story
Myself (Ryan) and three friends (Henry, Patrick and Jom) are taking part in this year's 10k Tough Mudder event on 21st August 2022 in Gloucestershire to raise vital funds for LARF (Lauren and Rosie Foundation).
In July 2020 my beautiful Fiancée Kate was diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic malignant melanoma, Kate sadly passed away in April 2021 surrounded by her family and I who all loved her dearly.
Kate was only 24 when she was diagnosed and came under the young adult team throughout her care, the treatment Kate received whilst in hospital was fantastic and it is all thanks to the funding of charities such as LARF.
LARF Cornwall cancer charity aims to improve facilities and increase support for teens and young adults facing cancer. 2,555 teenagers and young adults are diagnosed with cancer every year, that’s 7 every day. With your support, we aim to make a difference.
It is for this reason we ask if you've come to this page that if you can spare any money to go towards our fundraising (we are going to need to motivation to get through this event 😂) we would all be incredibly grateful.
We all love and miss you so much Kate!
