The 4/4/48 Running Challenge · 10 June 2020

Yorkshire Cancer Research is an independent charity dedicated to funding world-leading research to pioneer early cancer diagnosis and discover new and better treatments. Each year we fund £10 million of world-leading research to prevent, diagnose and treat cancer.

Story

Recently my friends mum fell ill with what she thought was a chest infection.  It go so bad she had to go to hospital and after tests was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer.  She sadly passed away two weeks later.

Every single person in every community in and around Yorkshire should have the very best chance of living a long and healthy life with, without and beyond cancer.

I'm doing the 4/4/48 running challenge to raise money for Yorkshire cancer research.

The challenge is simple. Run 4 miles, every 4 hours, for 48 hours. I will be recording each run on the running app 'Strava' using my profile 'Ryan Jones'. If you have the app, feel free to follow me and check out my progress!

I will be starting on Wednesday 10th June at 2000hrs, and finishing at the same time on Friday 12th June.
