Story
I will be doing the tough mudder 10k to raise money for a charity that is now very much close to myself and carlys hearts, and one that offers compassion and hope to people going through the unimaginable.
On the 16th September 2020 we said goodbye to our little angel, Baby Knight. Now always in our thoughts and forever in our hearts. The 4Louis Charity gave us a way of remembering our beautiful baby and provided some light at a very dark time.
The memory boxes that they provide to families that have been through similar experiences offer some comfort in the worst possible time, and show that every baby born in special. We want to raise money so that all families can have something similar, and know that they are not alone.
4louis is a charity established in December 2009, following the stillbirth of our own son Louis, to provided tailored memory boxes to various hospital units and hospices across the UK and Ireland. These are provided for families who suffer the trauma of miscarriage, stillbirth, neonatal/infant loss, and the death of a child up to the age of 16. We also support midwives and nurses with other vital equipment such as moses baskets, cuddle cots, camera equipment, and support with bereavement suites. 4Louis can also take part in your study days as speakers and can even fund study days if required.
