Story

We sadly lost Jerry on Monday 18th January after a hard-fought battle with cancer. We lost a husband, father, grandfather, friend, and an all-round top bloke.

Sue Ryder provided Jerry and our family with great support in his final few days and we would like to recognize them and help them to keep supporting families like ours.

More info on Sue Ryder:

Lockdown, PPE and visitor restrictions didn't stop Sue Ryder from caring and supporting families like ours. But there is one thing that could stop them now. With less income from their shops and many fundraising events canceled this year, they already have £2m less coming in each month than they need to keep running at full capacity. We are now in a third national lockdown; every week Sue Ryder's shops are closed the charity loses an additional £500,000. Sue Ryder Nurses and healthcare staff are needed more than ever at a time when they simply don't have enough funding. We are facing an end-of-life care crisis the likes of which we've never seen before.
