After applying for the London Marathon ballot the last 10 years I finally secured a place for this years race in October!

My friend Jen Martin was diagnosed with breast cancer a few months ago and has been raising money for a variety of charities whilst she has been undergoing treatment. 

With this in mind I asked her to pick a charity for me to try and raise some money and help motivate me during my training and the race itself.

Keeping Abreast is a great charity that provide support and advice to women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. They are a non government funded Charity who rely on donations and  fundraising efforts to support those who need help.
