I am excited to have been accepted an a volunteer with International Service ICS which offers 18 to 25-year-olds a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to experience international development work as part of a properly structured, government funded programme.  I will be working in Ghana on a 3 month placement beginning in July this year.  I am fundraising £800 and I can't wait to get started.

Fundraising is all part of the ICS volunteer experience and demonstrates the commitment of the young people taking part, and the exceptional opportunity that they are being given to really make a difference.  The money goes to ensuring that projects such as these can continue in the future and enable others like me to volunteer.  Every bit of support is appreciated, and every penny will be going to an brilliant cause.
