I'm taking on the Cycle 274 Miles in August challenge and raising vital funds for life-changing research – A very dear friend of mine was recently diagnosed with a brain tumour, he has undergone multiple tests and two crainiotomies to remove the tumour and will now start a revolutionary state of the art treatment. His courage and positivity throughout all of this can only be described as inspirational.

If I can help towards this fantastic cause and support further research with the consequence being some very sore legs then I’m all for it.

As part of this challenge, on the august bank holiday weekend I will be cycling from Blackpool to Scarborough, otherwise known as the ‘Coast to Coast’, 142 miles and 8,000ft of climbing.
