You'll Never Walk Alone

My name is Ryan Dooley and I am a trainee Physical Education teacher at Edinburgh University. I am also a huge Celtic and Liverpool fan. 

During these tough times, I've decided to do what I can, to help some young people that unfortunately find themselves dealing with life-threatening situations at a time of life that should be about looking forward with great excitement.

Iv teamed up with Teenage Cancer Trust an amazing organization that does some pretty awesome things, for some pretty awesome people. 

Including: 

Building world-class facilities in hospitals across the UK, providing a home away from home for young people receiving treatment. 

Funding nurses and specialists to work in these facilities. 

Educating youngsters on early signs of cancers with school visits.

And that's not all, they also put on some really good gigs featuring some of the best artists in the world to raise money! 

So what am I doing? I'm walking.To the two football stadiums that sing this anthem on a weekly basis. Two football stadium that as a teenager I had some fantastic memories in. I will be leaving the east end of Glasgow's famous Celtic Park and walking the 230-mile trip south to Liverpool's famous stadium on Anfield road, leaving August 22nd 2021. 

However, like the song, I won’t be walking alone, I need your help! Every step further south, and every penny I can raise helps someone who is in a pretty dark place just now, not feel so alone.
