Ride Across Britain 2022 · 10 September 2022 to 18 September 2022 ·

North London Hospice supports more than 3,500 people with a life-limiting illness each year in the communities of Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey. Established in 1984, we are committed to empowering our patients through our vision which is to provide the best of life, at the end of life, for everyone.

Story

The Reason

I lost my aunt (Danielle Farrugia) last year so I am doing this event in memory of her and all the other people that I know who have been assisted by the North London Hospice.

The Challenge

On the 10th of September, I will be taking on the Ride Across Britain event in aid of The North London Hospice. Starting in Land's End, I will be cycling across 9 epic days, covering over 980 miles of the most beautiful and scenic landscapes accessible on two wheels.

The Charity

The North London Hospice exists to enable the best of life, at the end of life, for everyone. They work together with our diverse community, to provide palliative care and support for more than 3,000 people a year who are living with terminal illnesses in Barnet, Enfield and Haringey, as well as supporting their families, friends and carers.

As a registered charity, the North London Hospice provides free Specialist Palliative Care Services. Whilst they receive some government funding, they rely on donations and legacies to meet the cost of providing their exceptional care.

Every pound you donate goes towards supporting the hospice and those affected by terminal illness and pushes me through when the hills get higher.
