Ryan's White Collar Boxing for Lupus

At the end of November 2016, me and my family sadly lost my Mum, Maggie Clark. One minute she was out with a friend getting ready to boogie to 'Elvis on screen', and the next thing she was in pain being rushed to hospital.
My mum was told, with me and my two brothers by her side in A&E that she had an Aortic Aneurysm which needed to be operated on immediately. It was a 50:50 chance....
Despite in true 'Maggie' fashion, after battling not one, but two major operations in two days, and lasting another 2 in intensive care with a fight to defy the odds, sadly her body gave up.
Throughout her life from her early 20's, she had severe Arthritis and Lupus, and although this isn't what took her from us directly, the charities were meaningful in memory of our Mum.
She was also very fond of children - she would do anything for anyone, let alone kids in need. Therefore I'm raising money for both Lupus and Little Havens Hospice, both of which she would be proud of.
Please donate considering a split balance by checking both pages against the 'team page'.
Lastly, my reasons for a White Collar fight is to honour my mums life's battles and fights with her conditions. She just got on with life and led a happy one at that.
When I was 10 years old starting off in Boxing, I used to have a few amateur bouts which she didn't like to watch, but waited up to see me step in the door hoping I'd won. She would now be telling me "Don't do that Ryan, why do you have to do that!?" but sorry Mum.... Why change a habit, it's the only thing I've ever been half decent at, and I know you were proud really because every hair dresser, shop assistant or complete stranger I ever met in our home town told me so! (Although that was 25 years ago and i'm a little out of shape!)
