S.A.C.Construction Limited has chosen its first charity of the year as DEBRA a charity which conducts research into the skin condition Epidermolysis Bullosa (EB).

EB is a group of genetic skin conditions which cause the skin to blister and tear at the slightest touch.

Some of those born with EB have skin so fragile they are called 'butterfly children' – their skin is quite simply as fragile as the wing of a butterfly.

DEBRA is a national charity providing research into the condition as well as support for those living with the condition and their families.

Approximately 5000 people in the UK are living with a form of EB and more research is urgently required.

Here at S.A.C. Construction we want to raise as much money as we can for the charity as we have several family members affected by the condition. We are kicking off the year with a charity evening of food and a disco at East Carlton Cricket Club on 17^th March 2018. Then on Saturday 21^st April 2018 a fearless team of staff are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks challenge.
