A group of 2-6 years old did a charity walk last year to raise funds for orphans. They raised £4000 quadrupling their initial target and and the money was used to help orphans sponsored through the Al-Ayn foundation.
This year we are doing it again and we would like you to join us!
We plan to climb the peaks of Northala Fields on Sunday 25th September at 11.30am.
A little bit about the event......
In commemoration of the prophet Muhammad (SAW) on the anniversary of his death, a group of young children will climb the peaks of Northala Fields to raise money for the orphans of Iraq.
They will be using their feet to make a difference to the lives of children just like them but born under very difficult circumstances. By raising money for them, they hope to maximize their chances to unlock their full potential.
All the money raised will be donated to the Al Ayn foundation.
Al-Ayn (UK) has been working since 2013, in collaboration with Al-Ayn (Iraq) to serve over 60,000 orphaned children in poverty from birth and throughout their childhood as well as during their transition into adulthood.
As well as essential monthly financial aid, each child sponsored through Al-Ayn is given access to psychological rehabilitation, medical care, educational support, personal development, vocational training, housing and more.
The kids would love your support on their second charity raising venture and hope to emulate the prophet Muhammad (saw) in ensuring the future of the orphans will be secure in their generation.
