Education is a key that can unlock countless opportunities and is a doorway out of poverty.

I have decided to embark on a challenge in The Gambia and Senegal from 11th-19th April 2019 iA to work directly with underprivileged and orphaned children to support their educational needs.  I am doing this to help change the lives of children who have not been given the same opportunities as we have in life.

I am raising funds to support the provision and improvement of various facilities at the existing School of Excellence. The School was first established in 2010 and provides a free and accessible education to over 250 orphan and needy children.  With your support and generous donations the School can continue to support and empower orphan and needy children to build a better future for themselves and their families.

The funds raised from donations will be used to - 

• Invest in the future of children by ensuring school fees are covered
• Provide nutritious meals to children daily 
• Provide regular medical checks for each child 
• Arrange free transport for each child to and from school everyday
• Build a boundary wall to safeguard children within the school grounds
  
• Hire and train teachers to ensure children have the best to learn from
  
• Provide state of the art facilities to optimise learning
  
• Renovate and improve the school's masjid
• Contribute to other projects including water wells and livelihood programmes
  

Every single penny will make an invaluable difference to these innocent children and will improve their lives enormously!! I’d be really grateful if you would donate towards this cause and help me towards raising my target of £2,500 to make a positive impact to their lives in so many ways!!
