A little background on our amazing boy…

Harry had open heart surgery at 5years old in July 2019… this was a very emotional time for our family, the nurses, doctors and play workers played a vital role in getting us through.  

The charity provided us with a safe room to sleep in at the hospital, a communal kitchen where we could eat & drink and made sure we had emotional support  

In February this year, aged 6, Harry had to have his 2nd open heart surgery…this was during covid and the added pressure and no visits from family was difficult  

We know that Harry has to have a mechanical valve replacement and we are hopeful this will be when he’s older, as the valve doesn’t grow with him, it will mean less operations

As a family, we want to give something back… which is why Harry would love to do a 5k cycle before Christmas 🎅🏻 and raise some much needed money to give back to this amazing charity
