I’m hopefully going to complete a very tough 2.4 open water swim in lake worthersee in klagenfurt Austria with another 3000 crazy  triathletes  then into transition for a 112 mile bike ride with some tough climbs then back into transition for the last leg 26.2 marathon run.each discipline has to be complete in a strict cut off time swim 2 hours 20 min,  swim /bike  10 hours 30 min  or you can’t carry on to the  last-and the toughest the marathon  .  all has to be done in no more than 17 hours to be able to say you r an Ironman which after 2 years of hard training is my ultimate goal . I’m also doing this with my wife Tracey who is doing it for Alice house hospice in Hartlepool.
