Most people who know me know that for eight months my husband fought very bravely terminal lung cancer. During the eight months until his death, Isabel Hospice were part of our lives, and Trevor stayed in the Hospice at Welwyn for the last week of his life. I cannot stress to anyone, how much help they gave Trevor, me and Trevor's immediate family. He saw me do this last year, and i enjoyed it so much, and he was so proud of my mad cycling and running exploits. He knew I had put in for this event, and would be pleased that I am continuing. I would like to raise as much as possible for Isabel Hospice. Apart from anything else if anyone would like me to post a picture of me after the event, just to help the purses, I am willing, and it will be bad.
Isabel Hospice provides palliative support to the 270,000 people who live in eastern Hertfordshire.Hospice care is about helping people to live well for as long as possible and have a good death in the place of their choice when the time comes. Without your help, we could not make this possible for our patients and their families. Each year we care for around 1,400 patients and 700 family members. But we know there are even more people that need our help.
