I originally set up our fundraising page when James and I secured places in the London Landmarks 1/2 Marathon, which we both successfully completed on 1st August!  

I was then selected as a Race Ambassador for the Northampton 1/2 Marathon on 26th September which James and I both ran, as well as the Rock n Roll Liverpool 1/2 Marathon on 24th October.

So, that's 3 half marathons in 3 months for us - not bad for a couple that couldn't run to the end of the street 18 months ago!  

This fundraising page will cover all 3 events, run in my Dads memory, and raising funds for Cynthia Spencer.

We really are so grateful for the sponsorship and support that our friends and family have shown, it means so much to us and we feel privileged to be in a position to raise funds for Cynthia Spencer.

The hospice provides exceptional specialist palliative care to patients and families with life limiting illnesses and they took absolutely fantastic care of Dad when he was nearing the end of his brave 10 month battle with Throat Cancer back in 2004, he sadly lost his fight against the disease aged just 51, when I was 22 years old. The staff and volunteers do such a wonderful job and it’s a privilege to support their ongoing fundraising efforts; to ensure that others like Dad continue to receive such fantastic care and support.
