Yes, we're doing our own version of Strictly Come Dancing as a big fundraiser event for our YUSU RAG beneficiary, IDAS! The show will feature all 5 Sabbs, Dance Society, Latin & Ballroom Society, and Swing Dance Society. The event is also being supported by TechSoc, YSTV, hosts from ComedySoc, and a range of esteemed guest judges. The format of Sabbs Come Dancing sees two competitions (using this word quite lightly) happening simultaneously - one between the Sabb Officers, who are each working with an expert dance partner/choreographer, and then another involving the 3 dance groups trying out each other's styles! IDAS are YUSU RAGs beneficiary for this academic year, they are the independent domestic abuse service who work in and around York and North Yorkshire to provide essential services to victims of sexual and domestic abuse. They provide safe spaces, advice and counselling in a confidential and safe environment.
